Clean water supply is an essential need for every household. However, the suply is getting rare as the exploitation of underground water increases following the increase of population. The situation is possibly getting worse as there is no recharging system for underground water. This paper exposed the problem of limited supply of underground water at Desa Wirorejan, Kebakkramat, Karanganyar and the proposed solution. Based on observation, some of underground well was dried up in dry season, but reached the maximum level of 2.5 min rainy season. Therefore, an infiltration well was designed as the solution for the problem. The design considered both the environment data of rainfall (193,82 mm/hour) and the soil permeability (5 cm/hour). The infiltration well is designed to merely collect the rainfall from the roof, which is determined by using aerial photo from google map. The depth of the well is 3.44 m for the well diameter of 0.8 m. As the maximum water tabel is 2,5 m, two parallelsof infiltration well with the depth of 2 m each are used. In addition, sedimentation box is used to maintain the volume of the well.in_ID
