dc.description.abstractPemodelan dan analisis permukaan bumi merupakan salah satu topik penelitian yang berkembang dengan pesat di dalam disiplin ilmu geografi fisik. Hal ini dikarenakan majunya berbagai peralatan di bidang fotogrametri seperti Differential Global Positioning Systems (dGPS/dGNSS); Total Station (TS), Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS) Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS), dan berbagai teknik fotogrametri digital. Structure from Motion (SfM), merupakan bagian dari metode fotogrametri yang relative baru ini sudah dikembangkan sejak tahun 1970 an, dan dalam lima tahun terakhir, SfM telah menjadi suatu cabang dalam bidang ilmu geo-sains. Kapasitas komputasi yang terus berkembang telah menjadikan metode ini sebagai salah satu metode yang banyak digunakan dalam berbagai pemodelan permukaan bumi. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mendiskusikan teknik SfM dengan memberi ulasan dari berbagai implementasi SfM di cabang ilmu geografi fisik dan memberikan informasi detail menganai cara kerja SfM, komponen utama dalam implementasi SfM pada berbagai kaj ian geografi fisik dan proses-proses yang mempengaruhi kualitas dari model yang dihasilkan. Di bagian akhir, akan disampaikan diskripsi singkat mengenai prospek SfM untuk mendukung kajian geografi fisik dalam penentuan bahaya dan risiko bencana.in_ID
