Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Konsumsi Sayur dan Buah pada Remaja Putri SMPN 3 Surakarta
Abstract
According to the recommendation of Balanced Nutrition Guideline, Indonesian people are
encouraged to eat 3-5 portions of vegetables or equal to 250 grams per day and 2-3 portions of
fruit or equal to 150 grams per day. Based on the results of basic health research (Riskesdas)
2013, the consumption of fruit and vegetable for ≥ 10 years of age population was still low,
which was 6.4%. Preliminary survey results found that the students did not eat vegetables
and fruit from a recommendation by 80% and dislike vegetables by 25%. General purpose of
research was being determine the factors that influence the consumption of vegetable and fruit
on female teenagers at SMPN 3 Surakarta. This study uses cross-sectional research design with
the number of respondents was 83 people obtained by proportional random sampling technique.
Processing and analysis data used pearson correlation on the normal distribution data and
rank spearman on the abnormal distrubution data. Variables are used that is allowance (p=
0.998), preference (p= 0.003), knowledge (p= 0.347), attitude (p= 0.077), household income
(p= 0.809), family size (p= 0.250), the example and support from parents (p= 0.363 and p=
0.929), the example and support from a peer group (p= 0.847 and p= 0.161), availability at
home (p= 0.163), availability at school and free time (p= 0.865). The analysis showed that
average of vegetable and fruit consumption of female teenagers at SMPN 3 Surakarta was
still low (270.3 grams per day). The conclusion was there is influence from preference againts
vegetable and fruit consumption on female teenagers at SMPN 3 Surakarta.
