Pengelompokkan Industri Mikro dan Kecil di Indonesia menggunakan Kohonen Self Organizing Maps (SOM)
Abstract
Micro and small industries are strategic and important force to accelerate regional development. This sector is shown to contribute significantly to Gross Domestic Revenue and employment. In addition, Micro and Small Industries have an important position in terms of equity distribution in the regions and reducing income gaps. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics and result of grouping province in Indonesia based on growth and income problem micro and small industries. The variables that used are number of companies (unit), number of workers, total expenditure, total income, education level of entrepreneurs, and source of capital. The author analyzed grouping of micro and small industries by using Self Organizing Maps to analyze the data and for cluster validation used cluster variance. From the analysis that used Self Organizing Maps obtained the conclusion of the validation results used cluster variance concluded that the grouping of micro and small industries based on provinces in Indonesia on 2015 good to be grouped into 4 groups.
