dc.description.abstractKebutuhan kertas daur ulang untuk industri kertas nasional pada masa sekarang sekitar 6,5 juta ton pertahun, dengan perbandingan 4,2 juta ton(65%) dipasok dari pengumpulan kertas bekas lokal,sisanya 2.4 juta ton (35%) masih impor,penggunaan kertas daur ulang dimulai dengan cara mengambil kertas layak guna dengan tujuan menekan biaya produksi. Biaya operasional yang mencapai 20 % dari total biaya sehingga memerlukan strategi dalam pengambilan kertas ke pelanggan untuk mengurangi biaya operasional yang ada. Biaya Operasional dalam pengambilan kertas meliputi biaya bahan bakar, pelumas, ban, suku cadang, montir, upah awak truk, penyusutan serta biaya overhead. Berdasarkan pemetaan dengan menggunakan strategi pemilihan rute dengan nearest neighbour menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pelanggan ada di daerah Sleman dan Kota Yogyakarta. Proses perhitungan dari hasil pemetaan dari titik pelanggan dilakukan dengan menghitung jarak dan juga rute yang dilalui kemudian dihitung biaya yang dikeluarkan dalam setiap pengambilan kertas bekas pada pelanggan. Berdasarkan analisis pengambilan kertas bekas yang membandingkan sistem nyata dengan simulasi menunjukkan bahwa biaya operasional dalam simulasi lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan biaya rill perusahaan. Idealnya perusahaan dapat menurunkan biaya operasional pengambilan 3 hari sebesar 15.05% dan pengambilan 7 hari penurunan sebesar 10.08%, tetapi untuk pengambilan 5 hari lebih baik dari pengambilaan saat ini yaitu sebesar 3.21%.id_ID
