Abstract
Currently craftsmen for the cottage industry has a lot of but in the introduction or
marketing to consumers is very less evektif even less people who understand
teknolgi.karena current technology is growing rapidly in today's modern world. This
study uses observation and interview methods to some communities such as the head
of RT, village officials and the general public for that study aims to introduce and
develop the home industry manufacturers to market their products through internet
technology that is social media so the marketing can be widely not only in the area
local but also outside the city until kemancanegara. The results of this research are
6 batik craftsmen especially in making bags and wallets that the main material of
batik cloth. The craftsmen are constrained in terms of marketing when the
manufacture of these products have high economic value. for product innovation
also need to be more developed again, lack of facilities and supporting facilities of
business need more research about business development strategy at batik
craftsman Desa wangen Pulanharjo Klaten.
