MODEL KECERDASAN KULTURAL DALAM PENGEMBANGAN CONTENT PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PADA PENDIDIKAN DASAR
Abstract
This paper is the result of research of the National Strategy DP2M Directorate
General of Higher Education. Cultural intelligence is awareness in
accommodating cultural experiences encountered in everyday life as a
counterweight to cognitive intelligence can be applied in certain attitudes in
everyday life. Cultural intelligence occurs when there is interaction between a
group of individuals, both social interaction and cultural interaction. Cultural
Intelligence Model used to develop the content / contents, both for curriculum
development and content of the material habituation good character education
concerning manners, politeness, life skills, and life in the face of adversity
quotient, all based on local wisdom on certain intangible culture in East Java.
Cultural Intelligence Model can further be used as guidelines for development in
accordance with the situation in schools at primary education in East Java.
Recommended this model still needs to be tested at the school by involving
teacher training, materials development, media supply, and strategic cultivation
character development.
