    Abstract
    Basic Science Learning Practicum aims to have students research skills. Exercise research applied to answer many students lack the ability to apply the scientific method. Research aims to improve students' skills in research by applying inquary training or exercise science research on subjects Practicum Elementary. Long time study 4 months from July to October 2010. From the assessment of research reports in the second cycle studies show that indicators of success has been achieved because of 4 (50%) had a research report scores ≥ 75. In addition, based on student attitude questionnaire to the chosen form of action, that of the six statements that are directly related to the inquiry training of more than 85% of students to be positive, which means helping students master the skills of doing research. From the research that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the research skills of students can be improved by applying inquary training.
