PENETAPAN KADAR ASAM ASETILSALISILAT DALAM SEDIAAN OBAT MEMANFAATKAN SINAR REFLEKTAN TERUKUR DARI BERCAK YANG DIHASILKAN DENGAN TLC SCANNER
Abstract
Acetosal is consumed by people as analgesic and anti-pyretic so high quality of the
product is required. Hydrolysis result of this compound is acetyl salicylic acid which is
detected by forming complex of color compound with iron(III). As mention above, the needs
of new determination method for the compound which is simple, valid and mobile is
necessary to perform by detecting reflectance light of spot of salicylic-iron complex
compound using TLC Scanner.
Validation is needed to get the method valid and could use as determination
procedure. The step of laboratory work are perform by making external standard curve,
hydrolyzing the acetosal, adding the iron reagent, putting up the spot, measuring the
reflectance light, performing validation parameter, calculating and analyzing the data.
The results of recovery 80%; 100%; 120% (RSD), repeatability, linearity, intermediate
precision and LOQ value are 119,53%; 118,86%; 119,76% (1,18%; 2,92%; 0,47%); 2,079%,
r=0,938; 0,270%; dan 0,647% respectively. The conclusion is this method may use as
alternative method for determining acetosal.
