dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study: to describe an increase in the quality of mathematics learning through peer tutoring methods. This type of research collaborative PTK. The study subjects were free of action is class VII B MTs N Karangmojo, totaling 39 students. Methods of collecting data through observation, tests, field notes, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in descriptive qualitative flow method. The validity of the data with observations conducted on - constantly and triangulation data. The results (1) improving the quality of learning in mathematics can be seen from the increasing indicators include: a) menyelesaiakan task themselves before action 23.07%, 38.46% first cycle, and 76.92% at the end of the action, b) address the problem of learning itself before action 30.76%, 43.58% first cycle, and 58.97% at the end of the action, c) believe in yourself before action 15.28%, 28.20% first cycle, and at the end of the action 46.15 %, d) organize themselves before action 20.51%, 43.58% first cycle, and 66.67% at the end of the action, (2) improving mathematics learning outcomes KKM scored ≥ 70 before action 20.51%, first cycle of 66.67%, and 79.48% at the end of the action. The conclusion of this research is the application of peer tutoring method can improve the quality of learning in mathematics.en_US
