dc.description.abstractBurnout merupakan problem serius yang dialami oleh seseorang dengan berbagai profesi yang diakibatkan tekanan terhadap diri, baik berasal dari internal ataupun eksternal. Persoalan inti burnout adalah kondisi ketidaksadaran seseorang bahwa sebenarnya dirinya sedang mengalami burnout. Oleh karena itu, identifikasi tentang hal ini sangatlah penting sebagai upaya preventif untuk dapat meminimalisasi ke arah yang lebih berat yaitu stress. Di satu sisi, riset terkait burnout terus berkembang dengan hasil yang cenderung beragam sesuai situasional yang ada dan di sisi lain implikasi riset bagi aplikasi sosial juga penting sehingga hal ini mampu memunculkan berbagai pendekatan baru sesuai setting amatan yang berbeda untuk mereduksi terjadinya burnout itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian untuk tahun pertama adalah membangun model pendekatan keperilakuan untuk mereduksi burnout yang dicapai dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui kajian pustaka dari pemetaan berbagai riset empiris terkait burnout di dunia pendidikan sedangkan tujuan untuk tahun kedua yaitu uji hipotesis dan validasi model dari hasil tahun pertama yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yaitu uji struktural model dan kualitatif yaitu dengan diseminasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persoalan tentang burnout cenderung terus berkembang pesat dengan sejumlah konsekuensi, baik terhadap individu atau dunia usaha. Fakta ini memberikan petunjuk bahwa semua profesi ternyata saat ini juga semakin rentan mengalami kasus burnout. Yang juga menarik bahwa hasil penelitian semakin menguatkan asumsi bahwa kasus burnout tidak hanya terjadi di negara industri maju, tapi juga semakin banyak ditemukan pada kasus di negara miskin berkembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keberagaman profesi yang terkait kasus burnout memperkuat dugaan bahwa tuntutan beban kerja dan juga konflik peran yang terjadi antara keluarga dan pekerjaan juga semakin berpengaruh terhadap ancaman terjadinya burnout. Oleh karena itu dunia usaha perlu untuk melakukan identifikasi terhadap berbagai persoalan yang menjadi penyebab kasus burnout, tidak hanya di lingkup lokal team work, tetapi juga secara keseluruhan di tempat kerja.in_ID
