Implementasi Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Masyarakat Gunung Kemukus Kabupaten Sragen Melalui Komunikasi Pembangunan

Abstract

Mount kemukus is a tourist area that before closing, November 27, 2014 is very popular with the life of prostitution alleged religious tourism. Not only local citizens but also people outside the area many of which depend on the business of their life of prostitution. Post closure of prostitution, people's lives change. The loss of jobs, decrease in revenues, a drop in the number of visitors and so on. To address the problem, the Government is conducting a communications program development-oriented community empowerment. With qualitative research methods, data collecting techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation and analysis techniques using interactive analysis, this study tried to identify the empowerment program undertaken by the Government.Results demonstrating the researchers that the Government basically Sragen District have been doing community empowerment activities are expected to improve the quality of economic, health or education. However, some development policy that is top down got less appreciation from the public. So that in future the Government should evaluate and formulate policy strategies of empowerment are more appropriate.
