dc.description.abstractInformation ab out the results of the 3D printing process in Indonesia is still low as the level of roughn ess of objects generated from the process. Such information is impo rtan t to note , that the products will be used in accordance with the expected go als . The aim of this stud y was to determine the level of roughness of ABS plastic material 3D printer products with fill density of 20 % and 50 % of uncoated , coated and coated Chrome Coa ting Resins Gelcoat .In the process of this test using material Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene ( ABS ) formed for specimen testing roughn ess and tested with test equipment roughn ess ( Roughness Tester Type TR120 with ISO stan da rds ) with a variety of materials ABS with f ill density of 20% without a coa ting , the coating of paint chrome an d the upho lstery Rengel . Fill density of 50 % without a coating , the coating pa ints and coatings Chrome Rengel .From the test results are obtained roughness values Roughness Average ( Ra ) . Roughness of ABS material 3D printer prod ucts with f ill density of 20% un coated generate Ra values of 10.291 μm , whereas Chrome Coa ting of 1.78 0 μm an d coated Gelcoat Resin of 0,849 lm. Roug hness of ABS material 3D printer p rod ucts with f ill density of 50 % un coated generate value Ra of 5.164 μm , whereas Chrome Coa ting of 1.115 μm an d coated Gelcoat Resin of 0.529 lm. From these da ta the optimal k ehalusanyang level in the specimen with 50 % fill density a nd Gelcoat Resin coated .in_ID
