Peran Keluarga Pada Kepatuhan Minum Obat Penderita TB di Kawedanan Pedan Klaten

Abstract

Pulmonary Tuberculos is still be a global prob lem wi th the rate increase every year. Until right now,Pulmonary Tuberculosis still have a high percentage, it was because of the high percentage of failure in medication for suf ferer. One of the factors of the failure was because of the suff erer didn’t obey to drinking med icine. Family’s role was ne eded for the adher ence of suf ferer to drinking medicine. The aims res earch had to know about the relationship between family’s role with the adherence of Pulmonary Tuberculosis’s suf ferer to drinking medicine in Pedan Distric.This research was diskript if correlation with cross sectional approach on 44 r espondent of Pulmonary Tuberculos is’s patien, that st ill on going their med ication in Pedan Distric. Sampling was choosed by total sampl ing technique w ith exlus ion criteria. The data we re analyz ed by Kendal l Tau. The instrument in this r esearch was questionnaires.The analysis data from 44 respondent showed that family’s role to the Pu lmonary Tuber culosis’s suf ferer most of them in good category ( 52, 3%) and the obedience to drink ing medicine of Pulmonary Tubercu losis’ suf ferer most of them in obedient category (5 6,8%).The Conclusion th ere was r elat ionship betwe en family’s ro le w ith the adherence of Pulmonary Tuberculosis’s suf fere to drinking med icin e in Kawedanan Pedan with p-value=0, 000 (p<0,05).
