Integrasi Nilai-Nilai Kearifan Lokal dalam Budaya Sekolah sebagai Upaya Memperkuat Karakter Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas dan Kejuruan
Abstract
School as an educational unit plays an important role in character building of students as part of the community. in SIKDIKNAS Law No. 20 of 2003 there are three (3) main subject matter contained within the school as an education unit, namely: (1) conscious and deliberate effort; (2) create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that learners actively develop her potential; and (3) have the spiritual power of religion. self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed him, society, nation and country.
The influx of Western culture in line with advances in technology many causes increased juvenile delinquency and decline in moral values and characters of students in daily, thus integrating the values of local knowledge is an alternative to strengthen as to minimalize juvenile delinquency and the effort to establish the identity of the student. Forms of integration of local knowledge into the school culture can be done by: 1) cultivate one day with unggah-ungguh Java language 2) Allowing shake morning when students are in school dating; (3) Teachers in teaching gives an example in accordance with the regional context; 4) In the process of pembelajran and interaction at school teachers to enter the values to corresponding to the character development of local knowledge; 5) Establish extra curricular arts and culture are not only the process of performing arts but also incorporate local wisdom philosophy of art and culture
