dc.description.abstract | The excess of GeoGebra in mathematics teaching are as follows: (1) to produce
geometric objects quickly and accurately than the manual way. (2) existence of animation features and
movements manipulation which may provide a better visual experience to the students. (3) to confirm
that the painting has been made correctly. (4) Make it easier for teachers or students to investigate or
exhibit the properties of geometry. The purpose of the training are: (1) Introduce GeoGebra to teachers
that the program can facilitate teachers in geometricvisualization. (2) Disseminating the use GeoGebra
in a straight line equation material for teachers of junior high. Generally, role of GeoGebra in
mathematics learning is as a learning media, teachers' aids in drawing geometric objects, and as
confirmation of the answers to mathematical questions. Results of activities: from the 24 participant of
Muhammadiyahmathematics in Sukoharjo only small number of them have ever using GeoGebra, and
as much as 50% of the trainees want follow-up the training more comprehensive and in-depth.
Kelebihan program Geogebra dalam pembelajaran matematika antara lain sebagai
berikut: (1) Dapat menghasilkan lukisan-lukisan geometri dengan cepat dan teliti dibandingkan
dengan cara manual. (2) Adanya fasilitas animasi dan gerakan-gerakan manipulasi dapat
memberikan pengalaman visual yang lebih jelas kepada siswa. (3) Bahan konfirmasi untuk
memastikan bahwa lukisan yang telah dibuat benar. (4) Mempermudah guru/siswa untuk menyelidiki
atau menunjukkan sifat-sifat geometri. Tujuan dilakukannya pelatihan penggunaan program Geogebra
ini antara lain. (1) Mengenalkan Geogebra kepada guru-guru bahwa program ini dapat memudahkan
guru dalam visualisasi geometri. (2) Mensosialisasikan penggunaan Geogebra dalam pembelajaran
materi persamaan garis lurus untuk guru-guru SMP. Secara umum peranan Geogebra dalam
pembelajaran matematika adalah sebagai media pembelajaran, alat bantu guru dalam menggambar
objek-objek geometri, dan konfirmasi jawaban atas pertanyaan yang diajukan. Hasil kegiatan: dari 24
peserta guru-guru Muhammadiyah di Sukoharjo hanya sebagian kecil yang pernah menggunakan
Geogebra, dan sebanyak 50% dari peserta pelatihan menginginkan follow up pelatihan software
Geogebra yang lebih komprehensif dan mendalam. | in_ID |
