This study aims to: (1) Identify the causes of organizational changes that occur in the industry
Laweyan Batik Surakarta. (2) Identify the impact of organizational change, both individually and
organizationally in Laweyan Surakarta batik industry. (3) Identify the organizational change
processes in industry Laweyan Batik Surakarta. The study concluded the causes of organizational
changes: (1) due to the fulfillment of the needs and tastes of consumers, (2) the existence of
competition from competitors batik entrepreneurs, (3) because of the economic conditions in
Indonesia fluctuated. (4) There is a problem of education and financial capabilities batik, (5)
environmental factors around. The effect of changes in, among others: (1) the increase in the market
from product sales, (2) increased demand or orders received by the batik industry, (3) increasing
standard of life caused by the compensation received, (4) the efficiency and effectiveness of time and
energy use, (5) the tenacity and persistence administrators to manage and develop the area.
