dc.description.abstractPada tahun 2014, Siswa Menengah Pertama di kecamatan Saptosari Gunungkidul memperoleh rata-rata nilai Ujian Nasional pada pelajaran matematika paling rendah di antara pelajaran-pelajaran yang lain dan paling rendah di antara kabupaten-kabupaten lainnya di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri matematika dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa SMP di Kecamatan Saptosari Gunungkidul. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Tes Matematika dan Skala Efikasi Diri Matematika. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri matematika dengan prestasi belajar matematika. Sumbangan efektif variabel efikasi diri matematika terhadap prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 4%. Hasil wawancara dengan guru dan kepala sekolah mengungkapkan bahwa pengaruh lingkungan seperti kurangnya dukungan orangtua dan status sosial ekonomi membuat efikasi diri siswa rendah.in_ID
