dc.description.abstract | The general purpose of this community service program is to empower the
potential of the group in Gilingan Village. The target of this community service
program is to obtain household food letters (P-irt) in Kampung Gilingan, Surakarta.
Specifically, the program aims to train the grinding group to become a food product
entrepreneur typical of rice in the form of herbal charcoal. The food product to be
produced is a character that will be developed by partner I of Gilingan group. The
training is provided from production techniques, packaging, marketing, to business
management techniques to obtaining licenses for home industries. The method that
will be applied to achieve the goals / targets of the Community Service Program is a
combination of several approaches through training, mentoring. The main output of
this activity is a crunchy, savory herbal cracker and a distinctive flavor of chocolate,
strawberries developed by the Gilingan group. The conclusion of this activity is that
the training has given skillful ability for both farmer group to make quality product
from taste crackers. After being given training in packaged production results in an
interesting way, the partners are able to provide a characteristic that can convince
