Pola Distribusi Buah Lokal dan Buah Import: Studi Kasus pada Pedagang Buah di Kota Semarang
Abstract
Displacement of local fruit with imported fruit can not be ignored, the impact is huge, because it
relates directly to the income of local fruit producers, one of which is a fruit-bearing villagers.
Local fruit should be master in his own country untu realize it needed the proper distribution
patterns. For research purposes (1). Identify and determine the distribution pattern of the fruit
from the farmer to the producers to the consumers in the city of Semarang. (2). Knowing the
factors - factors that support the distribution of fruit in the city of Semarang. The population in
this study were all fruit merchant with fruit merchant gread criteria C and D in Semarang city is
divided into 12 (twelve) that the District is in the city, both of which sell in outlets or outlets still
not fixed. The sampling method in this study using non-random sampling method, the method of
convenience sampling (sample selection based on ease or encountered). The number of samples in
this study were 130 fruit merchant. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis, both
quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Research reveals that, (1). In Semarang found some
pieces of the pattern of distribution channels, with institutions - institutions such as farmers, local
traders, brokers, market baskets, as well as importers. With the largest fruit suppliers in the
market Semarang Johor. The pattern of distribution of imported and local fruit pieces in
Semarang three (3) types of distribution channels. The most dominant marketing channel and
routinely used trader is long distribution channels. (2). Factors Supporting local fruit distribution
