dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini mengambil studi kasus pada industry batik Kota Surakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum menguji kemantapan model budaya organisasi unggul di industri batik kota Surakarta yang didapatkan pada penelitian tahap satu. Tujuan khususnya: (1) menganalisis variabel budaya organisasi dalam pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan industry batik Kota Surakarta. (2) menganalisis latar belakang secara empiris pengaruh variabel budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan industri batik Kota Surakarta. Lokasi Penelitian di Batik Danar Hadi dan Batik Keris Surakarta. Alasan lokasi tersebut karena di dua industri batik menjadi ikon batik di Surakarta dan di kedua batik tersebut memiliki budaya organisasi yang unggul sehingga mampu bersaing di skala nasional maupun internasional. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data yang utama, yaitu sejumlah pertanyaan tertulis yang digunakan untuk memperoleh informasi dari responden dalam hal laporan tentang pribadi, sikap, dan pendapatnya terhadap beberapa variabel yang menjadi topik penelitian. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini : 1) Data primer, data primer yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini terbagi menjadi dua bagian. Pertama, data yang meliputi identitas karyawan, terdiri antara lain umur responden, jenis kelamin, jabatan dan masa kerja karyawan. Kedua, data mengenai persepsi responden terhadap beberapa variabel penelitian dari kuisioner tersebut. 2) Data sekunder, data sekunder meliputi antara lain kondisi lingkungan sosial, organisasi industri batik Kota Surakarta. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dimensi budaya organisasi yang mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yaitu dimensi creative, innovative, aggressive, humanity, risk taking, teamwork, dan harmonity. Hasil temuan lainnya yaitu ada tiga dimensi budaya organisasi yang tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, antara lain dimensi detality, expertise dan outcome orientation.in_ID
