dc.description.abstractMalnutrisi merupakan masalah yang utama yang menimpa anak-anak di dunia. Bila tidak ditangani dengan serius, maka diduga akan terjadi peningkatan anak-anak malnutrisi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis efek pemberian suplemen mikronutrien terhadap status anemia anak malnutrisi serta menganalisis efek jangka panjang status anemia pada masa batita terhadap status anemia pada masa prasekolah pasca suplementasi mikronutrien pada anak malnutrisi. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian longitudinal. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 1-3 tahun yang mengalami malnutrisi dan beresiko malnutrisi. Data yang diambil meliputi data umur, tinggi badan, berat badan dan kadar hemoglobin. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa suplemen mikronutrien dapat menurunkan prevalensi kejadian anemia pada anak malnutrisi dari 25% menjadi 11,8%. Prevalensi anemia pada anak malnutrisi meningkat prevalensinya dari 25 % pada tahun pertama menjadi 40% pad athun ketiga. Dari 60 anak malnutrisi yang menjadi subjek penelitian pada tahun ketiga terdapat 63,3% yang mengalami penurunan kadar hemoglobin ketika mereka menginjak masa prasekolah meskipun setahun sebelumnya telah mendapatkan suplementasi zat gizi. Penelitian ini menyimpulakan bahwa meskipun telah mendapatkan suplemen zat gizi tapi bila kemudian tidak dilakukan intervensi gizi, pemantauan pola hidup dan pola makan pada anak, prevalensi anemia pada anak malnutrisi akan meningkat prevalensinya.in_ID
