PERKEMBANGAN SAINS: Suatu Telaah Atas Pendekatan Paradigma Baru Thomas S. Kuhn

Abstract

Based on Thomas Kuhn view, the advancement of science is firstly revolu tionary and not evolutionary or cumulative. All begin with the presence of what is called “paradigm”. The matured science, somehow is dominated by a single paradigm. The paradigm punctuates as a guidance on scientific activity during normal condition of the science which enable the scientist to improve and advance the paradigm in details dan intensive for being free of fundamental problems. The paradigm might be accepted by scientist community when the paradigm represent the work they have done.
