Peningkatan Aktivitas Belajar Mahasiswa Melalui Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Dikolaborasikan Dengan Gallery Work
Abstract
During this time, learning applied by lecturers tend to use lecture methods, resulting in
student activities during the learning process tend to be passive. The purpose of this study was to
improve students learning activities through cooperative learning type STAD gallery collaborated with
the course work on Non Parametric Statistics. This research is a classroom action research through
study. The subjects of the lesson in this study are 40 students form C class of the VI semester in
Mathematics Education, teacher Training and Education faculty od UAD academic year 2014/2015.
The reserach was carried out in three cycles with each cycle consists of three phases including planning,
implementation and monitoring / observation, observation sheet analysis, reflection. Based on the
students’ learning activities, it is showed that the learning activities using cooperative learning type
STAD collaborated with the gallery of work can improve students' learning activities. It can be seen
from the percentage of students in cycle 1 are active in learning (76.09%); cycle 2 (92.34%); and cycle
3 (94.57%). These results indicate that the criteria for students' learning activities at each cycle are in
good category.
