dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui klasifikasi penampilan dosen dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar untuk mendukung peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar taruna melalui media berbasis whiteboard animation, (2) mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar taruna melalui penggunaan media berbasis whiteboard animation, (3) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar melalui penggunaan media berbasis “whiteboard animation” bidang navigasi pelayaran pada mata kuliah matematika terapan. Subyek penelitian adalah taruna yang mengambil Mata Kuliah Matematika Terapan Semester Gasal TA. 2018/2019 sebanyak 24 orang taruna. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan: observasi, angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Penampilan dosen dalam mengajar berturut-turut pada siklus I, II dan III memperoleh skor 49.95, 53.87 dan 57.69 yang ketiganya berada pada klasifikasi baik (2) Motivasi belajar taruna meningkat dari siklus I, II dan III berturut-turut senilai 62.03, 67.56, dan 76.86. (3) Hasil belajar taruna meningkat dari siklus I, II dan III berturut-turut adalah 61.73, 79.78, 88.26. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar; Motivasi Belajar; Whiteboard animation.id_ID
