Pengaruh Kompetensi dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Manajer Koperasi di Kabupaten Jepara
Abstract
Managers as key actors in the management of cooperative organizations, has a very important role
in moving the organization operationally. Performance cooperative managers of major concern
associated with the success of the cooperative. Some factors as indicators of the performance of
managers such as competence and motivation of managers needs to be taken in order to achieve
high performance manager. Study on the performance of the cooperative manager aims to examine
and obtain empirical evidence about the influence of the manager's ability and motivation to
satisfaction and performance of managers of cooperatives in the district of Jepara. The study
population was all cooperative managers in Jepara regency which operate based on the legal basis
until 2014. Sampling using purposive sampling method with the results of 270 managers of
cooperatives as a sample. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and
documentation. The data analysis was performed by using a structural equation model Partial
Least Square (PLS). The results showed that the competence and motivation to work does not
directly influence the performance of managers of cooperatives in the district of Jepara, but both
variables will affect the performance after the variable job satisfaction. That is the competence and
high motivation will not necessarily be able to improve performance if the manager is not getting
satisfaction in work.
